Overview– The Babson College, School of Management Evening MBA program gives working professionals flexibility in the pursuit of analytical and practical skills necessary for work in private and public sectors. Degree requirements are fulfilled at each student’s own pace, and can vary each semester depending on one’s own personal circumstances. Evening students acquire essential management skills while also developing a great understanding of the economic, environmental, and market forces that shape the 21st century enterprise. Students study organizational and management functions holistically.
Program Format– Most classes are offered on Babson’s Wellesley campus, which is accessible off of major routes from Boston and its surrounding areas. Babson’s Boston location is on Summer Street, which is easily accessible by public transportation. Students are instructed by the case study method, and also participate in team project work.
Program Schedule-Babson’s academic calendar comprises two, 15-week semesters (Fall, September-December) and (Spring, January-May). The school also offers two, seven-week Summer sessions (May-June, July-August). Evening program classes meet on weekday evenings from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Cluster core courses include one or two full day Saturday meetings per semester. On average, Evening program students take two courses in the Fall and two courses in the Spring. Students have the option of taking one or two courses during the summer if they so choose. A typical course plan allocates credits for nine semesters, and students are able to earn their MBA within three years if they enroll year-round.

Class Profile– The Evening MBA Program at Babson College has a population of approximately 800 students. On average, students have six years of prior professional experience, but enroll anywhere from two to 20 years into their careers. They are drawn from Boston’s diverse private and public sectors. Women typically comprise over 30 percent and international students nearly 5 percent of each admitted class.
Admission-To formally apply to the Evening MBA Program at Babson College you must submit all official transcripts from accredited 4-year colleges and universities, an official GMAT or GRE score, two letters of recommendation, a current resume, completed application essays, and an application fee of $100.
