Cambridge, MA – The MIT Executive MBA program has officially closed for new applications for the MIT EMBA Class of 2013. The last day to submit an application was June 30, 2011.
Admissions interviews are now underway for selected applications with pending applications. Interviews are conducted on an invitation-only basis and signal that an application has reached an advanced stage of consideration. The school has a rolling admissions policy and has been conducting ongoing application reviews since opening the admission cycle on April 1.
This will be the second incoming class in MIT Sloan’s new EMBA program, which was launched last year as a part-time complement to the highly respected MIT Sloan Fellows program. Admission to the inaugural class was highly competitive, with over 300 applicants competing for just over 60 slots. Reportedly, this year looks to be as or even more competitive than last year, despite MIT’s decision to slightly expand the class size.
The next round of decisions should be available sometime in July. We wish good luck to all of the applicants.
